In a world where every action, no matter how small, can create a ripple effect of positive change, three  individuals dared to harness the power of community for a greater cause. Meet Jamie Vranich (See Me Rolling), Devin Langan (Langan Financial) and myself, Lauren Daniels (LED Designs), the visionaries behind Ripple Effect, a non-profit committee with a passion for our businesses, our community and our environment.

With a desire to make a tangible difference, we embarked on a journey to create an organization that would ignite positive change in and around their community. Thus, Ripple Effect was born.

The mission was simple yet profound: to create waves of impact through outreach, support, and community engagement. Armed with determination and fueled by a passion for helping others, Jamie, Devin and I rallied like-minded individuals to join the cause.

On March 25th, the inaugural event hosted by the Ripple Effect, better known as the Ripple Effect Soiree, marked a significant milestone in the our journey.  The event was to raise awareness and funding for The Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association. Their goal as an organization is to guarantee that the Lower Susquehanna River maintains the water quality suitable for drinking, fishing, and swimming, while also enhancing community understanding across present and future generations regarding the ecological and economic significance of the Lower Susquehanna Watershed.

For months leading up to the event, anticipation and excitement grew as volunteers and supporters gathered to witness the birth of something extraordinary. What followed was beyond our wildest dreams. The outpour of love and support from the community was nothing short of overwhelming and inspiring.

From local businesses offering sponsorships to individuals volunteering their time and resources, the Ripple Effect quickly gained momentum. But it wasn’t just the tangible support that left our committee in awe—it was the sense of unity and purpose that permeated the event.

Strangers became allies, and barriers melted away as people from all industries and areas came together for a common cause. The success of this first event was a testament to the power of collective action. It proved that even the smallest acts of kindness can create ripples of change that reverberate far beyond their initial impact.

As Jamie, Devin and I reflect on the journey that led to this moment, we are filled with gratitude for the unwavering support of the community. Each person who contributed, whether through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading the word, played a vital role in bringing the Ripple Effect to life. But this is just the beginning. With the foundation laid and the momentum building, the Ripple Effect is poised to continue making waves of change for years to come.
